Blogging From A to Z: Day 1 – April Fools! *Slightly Steamy Material!*

He was the picture of perfection, which was a little surprising considering his lifestyle. ***** was a known womanizer, and yet, she wasn’t afraid of the look in his gaze as he began to make his way over. She had been coming to this bar for a few months now, and it had become a favorite among her group of friends. It had become a favorite for many reason, but ***** had been the main reason. At first, she didn’t really care. She hadn’t been all that interested in *****, purely because of his reputation, but as she watched him approach the group, his gaze directed right at her she couldn’t help but be reminded about their most recent flirtations.

She could almost feel the heat from the fire in his eyes, and she honestly didn’t know what to do. So she did the only thing she could think of, clutch her drink a little tighter as a playful smirk crossed her face. Before he had the chance to speak, ***** rounded up the courage to say something.

“Well hello there.” she said with more confidence the she thought she had. ***** gave her a look that said he was a little surprised that she had spoken up. She couldn’t help the grin that spread across her face.

“Hello there yourself” he commented back, leaning against the table she was currently standing at. The rumors were right; he was a sight to see, even better up close.

She wasn’t sure where her voice decided to go in that moment, but it sure didn’t want to make an appearance now. So she took a sip of her cocktail, and turned her gaze back up to the glorious looking man before her.

Some small talk later, and before she knew it she had agreed to a dance. He had convinced her that no harm could possibly come of a simple dance, but her own body told her otherwise. A sight shiver ran up her back as he placed his hand on the small of her back, and pulled her close. Of course he had picked a song that involved their bodies being much too close, and a very agonizingly slow rhythm.

Words weren’t necessary, or possible with the music, and frankly, ***** knew she didn’t have the courage to say anything. So as he began to lead her in time to the music, she just let him lead. She couldn’t help but love the way his body felt as it moved in time with hers. He had more muscles then one would think considering the nice, finely fitted outfits he was always seen in. And who knew the man would know how to move! The way he led them around the dance floor was both graceful and hot, and ***** couldn’t help but blush a little at the thoughts that started to cross through her mind.

As if on cue, ***** could feel his gaze on her, his eyes burning with that same fire from earlier. And again, words failed her. She could only watch the wicked little grin spread across his face before he leaned in and gave her a kiss that could rival any from the romance novels that she loved to get lost in. His kiss, the music, their close proximity, it was all a little overwhelming, so ***** couldn’t help but get lost in the moment, and finally leaned into him, and returned his kiss with a passion of her own.

The sound of the alarm buzzed obnoxiously in her ear, and *****’s eyes shot open. She was drenched in sweat, and she could tell she was breathing a little heavier then she should for only being startled awake by her alarm. There was a moment of confusion, and then she recognized the dull ache betraying the wicked dream she had apparently woken up from. With a sigh, she slowly got herself up, and out of her bed, and after a quick glance at her list of things she needed to accomplish, she couldn’t help but smile a little. April first? Guess her hidden desires decided to play a cruel April Fools day joke on her this year….

End Scene
